Development of draft federal accounting and reporting standards in public administration sector

Irina Alekseeva and Svetlana Tabalina have started work on the development of draft federal accounting and reporting standards in public administration sector based on IPSAS. The work is performed within the joint project of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The development of draft standards should contribute to the implementation of IPSAS principles to the system of budgetary accounting and reporting in public administration sector in the Russian Federation and thus have to lead to qualitative improvement of public administration.
